ETHICAL FARMING

At TrailBlend Coffee, we're committed to sourcing high-quality coffee beans from growers who use sustainable farming practices. Our expert growers carefully cultivate coffee beans in mineral-rich soil in coffee-growing regions worldwide, such as the Piura and Amazonas regions of Peru, where our Peruvian blend comes from.

Our growers use environmentally-friendly farming methods such as shade-grown coffee, which helps preserve biodiversity and reduce soil erosion. By providing a natural habitat for birds and other wildlife, shade-grown coffee can also help control pests and reduce the need for harmful pesticides. Additionally, our growers use fully washed and sun-dried processing methods that avoid the use of water-intensive methods and reduce water pollution.

At TrailBlend Coffee, we're proud to support growers who prioritize sustainability in their farming practices. By working directly with these growers, we're able to ensure that only the finest coffee beans make it into our blends. CARBON OFFSETTING ; This Process is being replaced with something better. 06-22-2023

We are a company that is committed to environmental conservation and promoting sustainable practices. Our partnership with "TBD" allows us to offer an easy way for online shoppers to offset the carbon emissions from their purchases and support our current wildlife restoration project, the Afognak Forest Protection project in Alaska.

This project covers over 8,200 acres of old-growth Sitka spruce stands, nonproductive open areas, and previously clearcut areas, and our goal is to salvage, restore, and preventatively manage the land while minimizing impact to protect old-growth forests, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and provide a safe habitat for various animals like brown bears, otters, deer, goats, beavers, rabbits, and bald eagles.

We're excited to work with "'TBD" to promote sustainability and reduce our collective impact on the environment. Through our partnership, we're able to offer our customers the opportunity to support our project and reduce their carbon footprint by using 'TBD" carbon offsetting service at checkout.
